About BC Studios

BC Studios LLC is an independent game studio based in Illinois. We build mobile games grounded in real work, real equipment, real workflows, and the people who run them.

Why we make games about heavy industry

The aggregate and rock crushing industry runs on skilled people, and it is running short of them. Crews are aging out faster than they're being replaced, and most people under thirty have never seen the inside of a quarry or watched a crusher run a shift. It's difficult work that almost nobody is telling that story to the people who'd be best at it.

We think a game can. Not a recruitment ad but an actual game, one that's fun on its own terms, built by people who care whether the equipment behaves the way real equipment behaves.

What we're building

Crusher Tycoon is our first title: a match-3 puzzle game wrapped around a rock crushing operation. Run the plant, manage your crew, keep the machines fed and the material moving. The equipment, the workflows, and the pressures come from how the industry actually works.

It launches free-to-play on iOS and Android, with optional in-app purchases.

The studio

BC Studios LLC is a small independent studio. We work closely with people in the aggregate industry from operators, plant managers, and crews — who tell us when we've got something wrong, and we'd rather hear it early than ship it.
